Bob Dowson has stepped down as a trustee.

From The Mango Tree’s very beginnings and over the next 13 years, Bob has served as an active and passionate trustee, fundraiser and orphans’ advocate. Bob has recently accepted a new very demanding position in the City, which means that has had to resign from most of his charitable activities.
The recent strategy meeting held in April 2015 was, sadly, Bob’s last TMT attendance. Bob has helped grow The Mango Tree into the sustainable organisation that it is today, and he has helped steer the organisation through its many challenges.
However, Bob remains fully committed to the work of The Mango Tree. He will be replacing his support as a trustee with additional support as a donor. Through his own trust, Bob has also decided to make a generous leaving pledge of an annual five-figure donation. So, a very big thank you from The Mango Tree and our partners.
From all of us at The Mango Tree, we wish Bob every success and future happiness, and thank him immensely for his dedicated service over 13 years.
