Racing a Train Up Mount Snowdon

The intrepid employees of MMT Digital decided to race a train 3,560 feet up Mount Snowdon. They figured if they could keep up 12 mile minutes, they could beat the train to the summit! First to the top, in an impressive 1.05hrs, was Amy Rudman. Well done to everyone involved and for raising over £2,000.

Since then, MMT Digital have run quizzes, dress-ups days and in 2017 held its annual summer bbq where staff teams, headed up by the Agency's co-founders, Ben Rudman and James Cannings battled it out in a series of challenges which ended with Ben's team defeated and having to face to gunge!!

An overnight test of stamina and teamwork

Nine boys from Uppingham School's Farleigh Lower Sixth, together with their tutors, carried out a sponsored cycle ride along a route designed to link elements of the life of King Richard III, the last Plantagenet King of England. The boys cycled to Fortheringhay Castle where Richard was born, the site of the Battle of Bosworth where he was killed in 1485 and Leicester Cathedral where he is now buried. Linking these places involved a ride of approximately 80 miles. Thank you to all the boys and their tutors who participated in the challenge which raised over £1,300!

Climb Kilimanjaro

The climb to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro was arranged to mark the 10th anniversary of our work to support thousands Kenyan and Tanzanian children orphaned by the African AIDS epidemic. The party comprised of 12 Mango Tree supported young people, two staff, two UK Board members and a longstanding and very generous donor. The group took eight days to climb to the summit and raised an astonishing £47,000.
We made the film of their experiences which is available for you to watch below.

Reaching for the Peak

The Mango Tree Kilimanjaro Climb took place in 2012 to raise money for our projects. Three of the Mango Tree Orphans tell their story.
